Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 7, 2026
MyFluidData is a tank monitoring service of Data Fire Solutions LLC (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we collect when you use www.myfluiddata.com and the MyFluidData service, and how we use it.
Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, company, and, if you add one, your mobile phone number.
- Tank and site data: readings sent by the monitoring gateways at your locations (tank levels, volumes, temperatures, deliveries, leak tests) and the location details you enter.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type and request logs, which we use to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To provide the service: show your tank data, produce reports, and send the email and text message alerts you set up.
- To send service messages, such as password reset and verification messages.
- To support you, and to keep the service secure and working.
We do not sell your personal information.
Text messages (SMS)
If you add a mobile number and turn on text message alerts, we use your number only to send verification codes and the tank alerts you turned on. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by turning text messages off in your notification settings.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We only pass your number to our text message provider so that it can deliver the messages you asked for.
Service providers
We use a small number of providers to run the service, only for that purpose: hosting (DigitalOcean), email delivery (Zoho), and text message delivery (Twilio).
Data retention and security
We keep account information while your account is active. Tank readings and logs are kept for as long as they are needed for the service and reports, and older data is deleted on a regular schedule. Access to the service is protected by passwords and encrypted connections (HTTPS).
Your choices
You can update your email address and mobile number in your account, turn alerts on or off in your notification settings, and ask us to correct or delete your information by contacting us.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
